What is OAADS? The Oregon Association of Adult Day Services ia a non-profit organization comprised of a voluntary registry of day service providers. Our mission is to enhance the success and collaboration of Adult Day Centers in Oregon. We accomplish this through coordinated advocacy, community outreach and education, upholding standards and guidelines, and continued support in achieving our common goals. Day services are an essential element in the continuum of care in Oregon, and OAADS provides a bridge with a number of State, local, and other agencies that provide health and social services. We are committed to continued excellence in Adult Day Services. Member organizations of OAADS have a structured routine of activities that are offered in a safe and supportive environment. Our programs remain committed to providing person-centered care, which promotes flexibility and individualized plan of care. Our members provide opportunities for participants to have fun while supporting each other's strengths throughout the day. Family and other caregivers will enjoy peace of mind and a little respite during the day, knowing the participant is in the supportive, fun and safe atmosphere. |
